The Ocean & Orchard Wine and Food Festival is held on the last Saturday in February with the 2012 event being 25th February. The Festival provides an opportunity for patrons to sample a selection of wines from local vineyards, complemented by delicious local produce and gourmet cuisine, all available in one location.
Competitions such as Ready Steady Cook, Showcase Jewellers Wearable Arts, Oyster Eating, Orange Peeling, and many more are held on the day guaranteeing lots of fun for everyone. Grape stomping of the new harvest is encouraged in our two large wooden barrels.
A childrens games and entertainment area will hold organised games and activities from 2pm – 5pm which will include a bouncy castle. A donation of $2 each will be required for a child to have access to this area throughout this time period.
There will be a supervisor and games co-ordinator on duty but please be aware that the safety of your child is your responsibility.
Transport from Paihia to Kerikeri
Kerikeri Taxi Shuttles and Tours will pick up guests from the Copthorne in Waitangi and the Paihia Fire Station at 1pm and return at 8pm from bus stop outside Subway on Cobham Road, Kerikeri. Minimum 6pax $20pp return. All transport bookings must be pre-booked so please email info@keritaxis.co.nz to book your transport.

Thelonious Punk is a well known local band who play modern jazz, b-bop, funk, latin and blues.
Cherisse Druet is a local covers performer, who will sing the “famous-in-Kerikeri song/jingle amongst others.
2birds – Nina and Lilly – talented young entertainers/musicians.
Taylah Barker – guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, performing her own songs as well as covers.
